The Piazza Maggiore in Bologna (Italy) was filled with chairs and a giant silver screen in front of the Palazzo dei Banchi. Above the screen the Santa Maria della Vita was still visible. This picture was there to be captured. Finding the right standpoint to get the proper composition wasn’t that straightforward. It took me a couple of climbs before I found the right chair to stand on to take the picture. Looking through the rangefinder it was evident, the composition showed a compilation of two separate images; a cinema and a church, glowed together with a white tape. I knew this was going to be a new series; “Fuse”.
